Angel's Bakery & Cafe sits on South Main Street in the heart of Scottsburg — not because it's convenient for us, but because it's convenient for the people who actually walk in. We're a local bakery and cafe run by people who show up early, knead the dough by hand, and care about the difference between butter and margarine.
We bake everything in-house, every single day. Our sourdough starts with a starter that we've been nurturing for years. Our cakes are decorated by hand. Our coffee is pulled from an espresso machine that gets used constantly from open to close. Nothing is frozen, nothing is pre-made, and nothing leaves our kitchen unless we'd eat it ourselves.
